You can find the “New Zealand Venue Co.’ app in the App store on your personal mobile device. Once downloaded, ensure that you register your app account with the same email address that you provided to us when you were hired.
You will gain access to your team member discount, which will appear on the home page of the app under your profile. If your discount has not appeared in your app within 2 weeks of your start date, contact AskHR@ausvenueco.com.au and we will look into this for you.

If you see it, we encourage you to call it out, and then the teams can all learn from this.
What to do if there is an injury and incident
Report this to your manager on duty immediately, no matter how minor. If you are injured, cease working and work with your manager on duty to ensure the appropriate level of medical support is provided to you.

Safe Spaces
Safe Spaces is part of our diversity program and is designed to ensure that NZVC venues and office environments are inclusive spaces where our customers and staff feel welcome and safe. It also aligns with our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy and promotes fair and non-discriminatory behaviour within the workplace to ensure all employees, contractors and patrons are treated equally.
3. Clocking in and out
For all timesheeting in venues, we utilise Humanforce. For venue staff, it is your duty to ensure you:
It is the manager’s duty to ensure all rosters are complete and provided to teams at least 7 days in advance, and hours worked are authorised and accurate

Mobile Phone use
Please do not use your mobile phone for recreational purposes during your shift, and especially in front of customers.
If you need to be contactable during your shift by your loved ones, we recommend they use the venue’s phone number.
If you need to reply to a non-urgent text message or scroll your news feed please do so on your rostered break.
4. What happens if I’m sick or running late?
It happens! Call the venue or your manager by phone, at least 2 hours prior to the beginning of your shift, or as reasonably practical.
If rostered and committed to the shift, you must provide a valid reason for your absence.
5. Presentation and Grooming
Upon commencement of work, your venue manager may provide you with a uniform specific to your venue.

We will not tolerate any corrupt, illegal, or other improper conduct by our employees, officers, contractors, volunteers, or suppliers and encourage the reporting of such conduct when it occurs.

KiwiSaver is a voluntary savings scheme supported by Inland Revenue that helps to set you up for retirement.
When you are onboarded with us, if eligible we will automatically enroll you and make regular contributions to your KiwiSaver account. If you wish to opt-out, please complete the opt-out form provided and send to AskHR.
Contributions are paid as a percentage of your fortnightly earnings, and you can nominate for us to contribute 3%, 4%, 6%, 8% or 10% of your salary.
